THE STANDARDS! The curriculum is not a book or a particular resource, but a comprehensive set of learning outcomes, skills, knowledge and assessments that are built from our standards. Because the curriculum is based on standards, this opens up the opportunities for teachers to personalize instruction and resources to support student voice and choice, use of flexible content, and even invite students into the planning process by co-designing pathways and learning goals.

A good question for sure! I definitely hope to hear more as teachers dive into this. I imagine that it may start with seeing the world as options versus a single path. This is an interesting take on planning for personalization. Also, check out this resource! It has some additional ideas.
